ADOBE CAPTURE LETTERING PROJECT David Ericksen, Product Manager at Adobe, were in need of some interesting and inspirational lettering designs for their app Adobe Capture. One of the features of the Adobe Capture app is that it captures inspiration or sketches and converts them into a vector asset that you can use in your other apps (like Adobe Illustrator et c). David Ericksen was looking to bring more awareness to users of this feature by showing a few assets which can be created in this way.
SKETCHING I started to sketch out different words or short sentences. Some went straight to the trash can and other I chose to refine. After many iterations I had some lettering sketches I was happy with, they were later photographed with my phone and imported into Adobe Capture.
EXPLORING After that I also tried the assets out and created some experimental designs with them (see examples below).
“The letterings look really awesome! Nice work Björn.”
– David Ericksen, Product Manager at Adobe
